In records of the Lurgan Quaker Meeting in 1673, twelve trustees were appointed for the burial ground. Four of the twelve named were: Daniel Stamper, listed as a "smith" in Lurgan; Thomas Walker, a " weaver " in Lurgan; John Calvert, listed as a "freeholder", and Valentine Hollingsworth, John Calvert's brother in law.
