Harry Dixon is of English heritage and spoke with a soft voice in an English accent. He probably came through Ellis Island. He worked at Westinghouse Electric at Wilmerding Pa, and lived on Gas Street in McKeesport, PA. He had five children(Violet, John, Harry, Harvey and Dorothy). He smoked a pipe with cherry tobacco and always wore a tam, or cap, and was well-dressed. He was a good husband and father. He liked to raise grapes and planted a garden. He would go hunting for black bear with the group of men in his spare time, although he never got one. He died of cancer of the bladder.

Dorothy (Dot) married Jim Flumm and they had a girl, Patty, and a boy, Jimmy.
Violet married Fred Englert and had two girls, Nina and ... . She was a secretary in a lawyer's office.
John married a woman who died with a set of twins before they were born, at six or seven months of gestation. They had other children, two girls. He was real tall. He remarried and the second wife raised the two girls. He was in the Navy and was building bridges and large structures for them. He died of cancer.
Harvey was short, blond, blue eyes and married Gertie. He had six boys. One of his children, Junior, was in the service.
