ALIE "TOPSY" SALMONS, 88, of Hamlin, WV, went home to be with the Lord on February 4, 2009, at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late James and Eve Pauley. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Dock Salmons; three brothers, Earl, Everett, and Tony Pauley; and one sister, Fannie Smith.

She was a member of the Open Door Bible Church, Rt. 34, Hamlin. She loved the Lord and crocheting.

Surviving are one son and his wife: Gerry and Theresa Salmons of Hamlin; one daughter and her husband: Mary and Ted Priestley of Alum Creek; two grandsons: Mark Salmons and wife Jeanie of Hamlin and Cline Priestley of Powell, Tennessee; and one great grandson, Braxton Salmons of Hamlin.

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 6 to 8 p.m Friday, February 6th at the Open Door Bible Church, Rt. 34, Hamlin. Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on February 7th at the church with Cline Priestley officiating and Ron Brewer assisting.
