Married Joseph McCain March 28, 1799, in Mechlenburg County North Carolina. They lived in Chattooga County Georgia in 1850. She died in 1857. Joseph was in Benton (now Calhoun) County Alabama in 1860 and died there in 1863. I don't know where they were buried. I am not certain where Jeanette died. They could both be in Chattooga County, or both in Calhoun County or one in each.
Someone checked the McCain Cemetery in Calhoun County Alabama and did not find a grave for Joseph or Jeanette, but the graves could be unmarked.
