Wyrtis M. Clodfelter, 81, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009, at her residence. She was a longtime resident of Franklin.

She was born August 8, 1927 in Smithville, IN to William L. and Zelma (Shields) Baugh. She married Alonzo Charles Clodfelter on August 9, 1947. He preceded her in death June 16, 1994.

Survivors include two sons, Richard A. "Dick" Clodfelter of Tampa, Fla. and William L. "Bill" Clodfelter of Centennial, Colo.; two daughters, Cynthia "Cindy" Clodfelter of Franklin and Donna B. Cramer of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William L. and Zelma (Shields) Baugh; her husband, Alonzo Charles Clodfelter; two brothers; and a sister.

A service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Vandivier-Tudor Chapel, 951 N. Main St., Franklin. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
