Hubert Elmo Lowe, 80, of Summey Circle, died Friday at Laughlin Healthcare Center.
He was a member of Towering Oaks Baptist Church.
Mr. Lowe was retired from George C. Moore Co.
His family stated, "He enjoyed hunting and fishing, the Atlanta Braves and UT football games."
Survivors include: his daughter: LeAnn Lowe of Nashville; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Grace Britton of Afton and Brenda and Bobby Knight of Greeneville; two sisters-in-law: Mamie Lee Lowe and Thelma Wilhoit, both of Greeneville; a brother-in-law: Lyle Justis; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife: June Lowe; two brothers: Maxford Lowe and Harold Lowe; and a sister: Kate Arwood.
The family will receive friends on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. and at 7:30 p.m. at Jeffers Funeral Service.
The funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in Jeffers Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Dennis Shumate will officiate.
Interment will be at Andrew Johnson National Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Monday. The Greene County Honor Guard is in charge of the graveside service.
Pallbearers will be Mark Shelton, Ramsey Cutshall, Eddie McCamey, Eric Walton, Steve Lowe and Shane Walton.
Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Laughlin Health Care, and neighbors on Summey Circle.
