She was born in Falls Creek, Pa., daughter of Willard J. and Mabel C. (Wilson) Rideout. She married Albert Vernon Botts March 29, 1941, in DuBois, Pa. He died Jan. 10, 1987.
Surviving are three daughters: Roberta A. Moore of Hollidaysburg, Deborah L. Jones and husband, Richard, of Clifton, Va., and Dorothy C. Shephard and husband, Thompson, of Roundhill, Va.; six grandchildren: Paula Wood, Amy Jones, Carrie Mansberry, Karen Billingsley, Wesley Shephard and Abbie Shephard; two great-grandchildren: Ricky Arraya and Rowan Price; and several loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Paul, Dale and Richard Rideout; and two sisters: Louise Casey and Dorothy Fillipone.
Mrs. Botts was a member of Vienna Presbyterian Church and the ladies auxiliaries of the American Legion, Vienna, Va., and VFW, Falls Church, Va.
She was an avid reader and gardener and enjoyed her grandchildren.
All services will be held at the convenience of the family. Entombment will be at Arlington National Cemetery. Arrangements are by The Good Funeral Home Inc. at Alto Reste Park Cemetery (www.thegoodfuneralhomeinc.com).
