Mrs. Lipp was a Clinton County resident all her life and lived in the Moran area for the past 60 years. She was a member of Moran Methodist Church, where she played the organ. She was also a member of the JOY Sunday school class. She worked at the county and state levels of 4-H.
Mrs. Lipp was born May 1, 1920, in Clinton County to William and Flora Knappenberger Brown. She married Robert L. Lipp on September 9, 1941, and he died March 3, 2001.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Tony (Joyce) Newman of Moran and Mrs. Sam (Jean) Gascho of Madison, Wisconsin; one sister, Mrs. Charles (Alberta) Sheets of Frankfort; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, Ward and Nelson Brown; and one sister, Dorotha Kingma, preceded her in death.
