"M. Josephine Conner, 73, of Covington, passed away at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday (Aug. 10, 1999) at Provena United Samartian Medical Center in Danville Ill.
She was born Jan. 30, 1926, in Veedersburg, the daughter of Harry and Artie Royce Thomas. She attended the school at Yeddo. She married Alvin Curtis Conner on April 9, 1944, at Rockville. He preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 1993.
Survivors include; four sons, Jack (Vicki) Conner of Covington, Paul L. (Sally) Conner of Williamsport, John Curtis (Tresa) Conner of Covington and Alan conner of Covington; five daughters, Marily E (chuck) Johnson in Montana, Loretta (Bernie) Livengood of Las Vegas, Nev. Sharon (Richard ) Roberts of Covington, Donna (James) Van Etta of Covington and Alice Stonebraker of Covington; two brothers, Paul Thomas and Frank Thomas, both of Veedersburg; one sister, Alberta Ansbery in Texas; 20 grandc hildren and 17 great-grandchildren She was preceded by her husband, parents, two brothers, two sisters, two grandsons and one great-grandaughter.
