"Uncle Franklin (Tommy) Thomas was married to Mary Elizabeth Richardson, my dad's (Billy Dean Richardson) sister. They were married December 17, 1963 in Veedersburg, Indiana. He had one daughter, Carol Thomas, and one son, Robert Gene Thomas, by his first wife. Aunt Mary and Uncle Frank never had any children together.

Frank loved to go fishing and selling worms to go fishing with. He always had a garden of fresh foods and flowers. He lived most of his live in Yeddo and Veedersburg, both located in Fountain County, Indiana.

He taught me how to mow the grass for the very first time and how to get worms to go fishing with. He taught me how to save money. I used to go and visit them every summer when school got out. I just love the little town of Veedersburg. I miss them both so very much and I loved them both so very much!!!"
