Services for Donald E Carner, 56, of 2736 J Ave., Chula Visa, who died Thursday in a hospital, will be at 930am, today in Johnson Saum and Knobel Mortuary.
Interment will be in Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery.
Carner served in the Navy for 30 years. He retired in 1955, as a commissioned warrant officer. At his death he was an electronics mechanic at the Naval Base.
He was past regional vice president of the Fleet Reserve Association and was a member of Fleet Reserve Branch No. 61, Chula Visa. Carner also was a member of the Foresters.
Surviving are his widow, Minona Faye ; a son Duane of San Diego, a sister and two brothers and five grandchildren.
