Mrs. LeJeune, 91, passed away Saturday, Sept. 15, 2001 at the Jeff Davis Living Center. She was born August 10, 1910 in Kaplan and was a resident of the Gueydan-Lawtel area. She was a homemaker and will be sadly missed by all, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Leroy (Marlene) Benoit of Jennings; daughter-in-law Betty Kibodeaux of Gueydan; step-daughter Lillian Leger of Opelousas and her family; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Paige and James Fontenot, Kyle and Lisa Benoit, Darrin and Sue Benoit, Trevor and Diana E. Benoit, Todd and Leslie Benoit, Dolores and Dirk Benoit, and Tammie and Brannon Menard, and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Antoine and Amelie Meaux; two husbands, Dave Kibodeaux and Adam LeJeune; two daughters, Dolores and Dorothy Kibodeaux and two sons, David Kibodeaux and R. J. Kibodeaux.
Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Gueydan is in charge of the arrangements.
