Pruyne, Henry, b. 1765, Florida (now in Montgomery County NY.) resident of Bridgewater Township, Susquehanna County PA. on 4-20-1833. Henry was drafted in the spring of 1781 and served a a private in Capt. Garret Putnam's company, Col. Marius Willet's Regiment; he was a participant in the battle of Johnstown; Henry was drafted again the spring of 1782 in the same company and was wounded in the right arm while engaged in the battle of Turlow ( Durlock?); he was discharged from the military one month after the battle. Henry Pruyne (1765-1825) served as a private in Capt. Garrard Putnam's company, Colonel Willet's New York regiment. He was pensioned in 1833. He was born in Florida, NY; died in Jessup, PA. Came to Susquehanna Co. in 1812.
