Funeral service for Warren "Keith" Hanna will be 11 a.m., Wed., March 8, at First Christian Church with Rev. Mark Newman officiating. On Fri., March 10, at 11 a.m. a funeral service will be held at Prescott Christian Church in Prescott, IA, with the Rev. Dr. Jeanne Groom officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Prescott, IA, under the direction of Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tues. 1-8 p.m.
Keith died Sun., March 5, 2006, at Claremore Regional Hospital at the age of 87.
The son of Warren Keith and Mable Lametha (Alpah) Hanna was born July 26, 1918, in Des Moines, IA. Keith grew up in Prescott, IA. On May 8, 1940, he married Beth Ada Crowell in Creston, IA. They made their home in Prescott, where Keith farmed and was a general trucker. Keith volunteered for 20 years in the "Sheriff's Posse" in the Adam's County Sheriff's Dept. Keith and Beth moved to Claremore, OK, in August 1991. Keith was a member of the First Christian Church in Claremore.
Survivors include his son, Darwin Hanna of Adair; brother, Robert Hanna and wife, Margret of Laurens, IA; sister-in-law, Lavon Hanna of Havelock, IA; grandchildren: Martin Hanna and wife, Tammy of Owasso, Chad Hanna and wife, Leanne of Humbolt, IA, Wyatt Haas of Fort Dodge, IA, Melanie Corbin and husband, Chris of Anaheim, CA, and Kevin Hanna of Adair; step-grandchildren: David Smith and wife, Lori of Cottonwood Falls, KS, Bryan Smith of Tulsa; great-grandchildren: Cody, Emma, and Jacob Hanna; and step-great-grandchildren: Jason and Colby Tessler.
Keith is preceded in death by his wife, Beth Ada Hanna, and son, Bruce Hanna.
