Thelma R. Robinson, 90, of Charleston passed away February 24, 2009, after a long illness.

She was born May 27, 1918, and was the daughter of the late Wayne and Nora Powers, prominent residents of Webster County.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dewey Robinson; sisters, Jean Nuzem of Bloomington, Ohio, and Norma and husband, Bob DeBrular, of Belpre, Ohio; sons, James and wife, Martha, of Elkview and Gerald and wife, Priscilla, of Pataskala, Ohio; grandchildren, Terri Robinson of Tampa, Florida, Andy and wife, Melissa Robinson, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and Laura and husband, Matt Dietsch, of Edgerton, Ohio; and great-grandchildren, Abigail and Isaac Robinson of Reynoldsburg, Ohio.

Thelma was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Tiskelwah Chapter 45 for over 50 years and a former member of Wesley Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, February 27, at Bartlett-Burdette-Cox Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. Mark Newland officiating. Burial will follow at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
