Miles Allred was born May 23, 1925 to Louis and Bell Allred, the youngest son of 14 in Neola, UT. Passed away Jan. 29, 2004 in Salt Lake City, UT. Married Edna Stevenson in Las Vegas Dec. 26, 1999.
He served four years in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Canyon Rim 1st Ward. He enjoyed camping and hunting with family and friends. His sanctuary was his mountain property and he loved his horses. His passion was being involved with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was also a great mentor and father figure to his extended family, the Pullans and the Petersons of which he loved dearly.
Survived by wife E.T., children Gordon (Marilyn), Scott (Karen), Brian, Rachelle (Rex), 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, brother Don, and Sandy Allred. Preceded in death by his first wife Wanda Clair, son Kelly, and grandson Miles (Mickey) Allred.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 2, 2004, 2 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 E. 10600 So. where friends may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the services. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens.
