Mrs. Willie Gore Reaves, age 95, died Wednesday (Jan. 5, 2011) in Columbus Regional Healthcare, Whiteville. She was the widow of Carlos Reaves. Born in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas A. Gore and Menter Faulk Gore.
She was a life-long member of Bethesda United Methodist Church; a member of United Methodist Women Club; and a member of Bug Hill Senior Center.

She is survived by one daughter: Hilda Watts of Nakina, N.C.; three sons: Glenn Dale Reaves and Jerry Reaves, both of Nakina, N.C.; Weldon "Buster" Reaves of Georgia.
Seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be Saturday (Jan.8,2011) at 2 PM in the Bethesda United Methodist Church with burial in the Bethesda Church Cemetery, Nakina, N.C.

The family will receive friends Saturday, one hour (1 til 2 PM) prior to the service in the Bethesda United Methodist Church.
