Robert Daley
(February 5, 1925 - February 28, 2009)
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who was loved and will be missed by all who knew him. A retired commercial fisherman and a resident of Bayou Pigeon, he passed away on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, at his son's home. He was 84 and a native of Bayou Sorrel. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, on Tuesday, March 3, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Romig. Interment in Protestant Cemetery, Plaquemine. Survived by his wife, Betty Davis Daley; three daughters, Theresa Edwards and husband Junior, Tammy Daley and Linda Daley; seven sons, Robert "Bert" Daley Jr. and wife Mary, Ronnie Daley and wife Barbara, Donnie Daley, Robert Lee Daley Sr. and wife Kim, Clayton Daley and wife Joney, Alford Daley, and Ricky Daley and wife Jennifer; two brothers, Riley and Ray Daley; 35 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Preceded in death by parents; son, Randy Dale Daley; brothers, sisters and two great-grandchildren.
