THE NEWS OF THE WEEK IN BRIEF.

Peter Frey, aged 62 years, for over 15 years a inmate of the County Hospital, was found dead n his bed on Saturday afternoon, by Henry Reese, a hospital employee. Coroner Shiffer was notified and held an inquest, the verdict of the jury being that death was caused by apoplexy."
