Boyd Hott, 85, Hillsboro, died Sunday, October 31, 1976 at 3:50 a.m. in Henry County Memorial Hospital, Mt. Pleasant.

He was born February 4, 1891, near Hillsboro, the son of Henry and Elisabeth Yargus Hott. August 16, 1910 he married Pearl Wright at Fairfield; she died May 17, 1970.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Hillsboro Baptist Church.

Surviving; Daughter, Mrs. Tom (Ruby) Spray, Billings, Montana; son Leland, St. Cloud, Minnesota; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and sister, Mrs. Edith Morris, Grand Island, Nebraska.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 3, at the Hillsboro Baptist Church, with the Rev. L.H. Smith officiating. Burial was in the Hillsboro Cemetery. A memorial to the Hillsboro Baptist church has been established.
