Temmiezine P. "Tempie" was born near Myersville on November 16, 1873 a daughter of Mahlon Benjamin and Mary Ellen Hoffman Green of Church Hill, Elerton and was the wife at the time of her death to Harry A. Stoner whom predeceased her on April 8, 1941.

Tempie was predeceased by her first husband, Lewis Henry Engle Sr. on March 12, 1921.

She was a member of the Evangelical United Church Of Christ, Ladies Bible Class, charter member of the Ladies auxiliary Faternal Order Of The Eagles, Post 1068, Frederick; member of Past-Presidents Club, Sons and Daughters Of Liberty, Mountain City Council 12, Laide Auxailiary Junior Fire Co., Frederick and the Pacahontas Chippewa Tribe 19, I.O.R.M..

Surviving Tempie are three daughters, Mary Runannah Smith and husband Earl Leo, New Market; Pauline Rebecca Lewis and husband Francis Vernon, Hagerstown; Tempie "Louise" E. Hammell at home and one son, Lewis Henry Engle and wife Margaret Loretta , Walkersville, 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by three sisters, Orzula Catherine Crum and Husband Roy Lee, Frederick; Ella Baker Pryor and husband Stanley, Lantz, Lola Ann McDermott Michael and husband Sidney Burns and two brothers, Mahlon Benjamin Green Jr. and wife Gertrude Hazel, Myersville and Martin Luther Green and wife Elizabeth, Frederick and predeceased by two brothers, Wade Harrison Green and Lewis Tilghman Green and one sister, Flora Mae Green.

Funeral held with internment made in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.

Mrs. Temmiezine P. Engle Stoner, widow of Harry A. Stoner died at her home, 412 North Bentz Street, Saturday at 6 p.m. after an illness of one week. She was aged 83 years.
