A native of Larissa, Greece, he came to the United States when he was 2 years old and later moved with his parents to the District. He was graduated from George Washington University and National University Law School. Mr. Shenos practiced law here for 41 years until retiring last year because of illness. He then moved to Camilla. He was a member of the Sigma Nu Phi legal fraternity and was a past president of AHEPA here.
Besides his wife, Rosemary, he leaves a son, James Jr. of Clarkesville, Md.; a daughter, Mrs. Harvey Decatur of Lanham; two brothers, John of Washington, and Pericles, a physician who lives in Greece, and two grandchildren.
Services and burial were May 26 in Camilla.
