Elizabeth A. "Libby" Bush, 81, of Chattanooga, TN, died Sunday, October 8, 2006, in a local Hospital.
She was a native of Chickamauga, GA, and had lived in
the Chattanooga, TN area most of her life. She was a member of Westview Baptist Church. Mrs. Bush was also a member of the Eastern Star, Whorley Lodge and the Togetherknits Guild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Robert Skidmore; sister, Betty Marr.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Clyde B. Bush; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert "Robin" and Teresa Bush, of Jackson, TN, the Rev. Clyde "Phil" and Carolyn Bush, of Alexandria, VA; grandchildren, Amy and Doug Armstrong, Adrienne and Matt Beall, Jared and Justin Bush; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and James Wheeler, of Chattanooga, TN; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1;30 p.m. Wednesday in the East Brainerd Chapel with the Rev.Sterling Jetton officiating.
Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. today and from 11:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Westview Baptist Church, 9516 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga,TN 37421; or to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4355 Hwy 58, Suite 101, Chattanooga, TN.
