Abigail the daughter of Cyrus and Mary A.(Ward) Johnston was born in Kentville, Kings County, Nova Scotia and died at the home of daughter Mrs MARY McCOLLUM near Winigan, MO. In 1861, married Isaiah Wallace at Billtown, Nova Scotia, who died 2 March 1894. Eleven children born, JAMES died 1862; ADELAID E. died 1894, and FRED in 1899; living, MARY A., CYRUS, FRED, ALBERT R. OF Whitten SD; ESTER MAY, SEAMAN P., CLARENCE I., WILLARD A., and LULA B., who lives in Helena MT. The rest of the children except ALBERT and LULA live in Linn and Sullivan Counties,MO. Leaves also sisters and brothers, FRED and JOHN JOHNSTON, BELL FORESYTHE, MAGGIE BEST and AGNES MINER. Services at Winigan Baptist Church. (The Browning Leader-Record, issue 7 July 1927.)
