Harry B. "Bud" Dotson was the husband of Sarah A. "Sally" Hay Dotson and the father of: Addie Broadus, Aline Smith, Estelle Wrenck, Hattie Dotson, James "Jimmy" Dotson, and Alfa Dotson.

H. B. DOTSON PASSED AWAY ON MARCH 18

Funeral services for H. B. Dotson were conducted from the Heartfield Funeral Home on Saturday, March 19th, at 2:00 p. m. with interment following in the Black Jack cemetery. Mr. Dotson passed away on March 18th at the age of 73 years, 5 months and 15 days.

Dotson was a native of Hearne, having been born here on October 3, 1875, and had spent his entire life in Hearne. He was known and loved by many in Hearne, and was affiliated with the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Sarah Dotson; one son, Alfa Dotson of Hearne; three daughters, Miss Aline Dotson, Mrs. Karl Wenck, and Mrs. Aubrey Broadus, all of Hearne; one sister, Mrs. A. M. Nunley of Hearne; two brothers, S. L. and G. D. Dotson of Hearne, and seven grandchildren.

Rev. C. M. Mitchell of Bryan officiated at the services and pallbearers were Karl Wenck, Freddie Wenck, Joe Turner, J. A. Dotson, Bill Dotson, and Aubrey Broadus.
