Mr. Ansel "Hoss" Reasons, age 67 of Bakersfield passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. Hoss was born October 22, 1941 to Johnny and Lela (Morris) Reasons. He married Joyce Rowe on January 19, 1985 in Mountain Home. Hoss served in the US Army during Viet Nam. Hoss was a roofing contractor and retired from the Arkansas Highway Department. He was a member of New Life Bible Way Assembly.
Hoss is survived by his wife, Joyce, of the home; 2 sons: Danny (Missy) Rowe and Dexter Rowe, both of Mountain Home, 3 daughters: Debra Rowe Houghton (Corky) of Mountain Home, Flesha Reasons Wadkins (Bill) of Bakersfield, and Regeana Reasons Baughman (Tim) of Mountain Home; 16 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 1 sister: Gwenda Belt (Tom) of Bakersfield, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Dean.
Visitation for Hoss will be Noon – 9 PM Friday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be 10AM, Saturday at the Full Gospel Church in Bakersfield, MO, with Reverend Floyd Stewart officiating. Burial with Masonic and Military Honors will be at County Line Cemetery, South of Bakersfield.
