Roy Young, 66, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8 pm today at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs. Services will be 2 pm Friday, March 27, 2009, at Stringer Family Chapel with burial in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.

Mr. Young was a native and lifelong resident of Copiah County except for a period that he worked in Texas. He was a member of Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church. Mr. Young was a retired concrete finisher from Dickerson and Bowen.
He is survived by his daughter, Pam Young Morrison of Terry.
