Otto E. Strade no newspaper named May 1981

Otto E. Strade, 86, of Lax Chapel Road, Kiel, died Tuesday at St. Nicholas Hospital, where he had been a patient for four days.
He was born Jan. 31, 1895, in the Town of Schleswig, a son of August and Wilhelmina Drake Strade. He married Wilma Schultz June 21, 1919, in the Town of Schleswig. He farmed the Strade Homestead farm in the Town of Schleswig and also was employed at A. A. Laun Furniture Co., Kiel, until he retired in 1960. Mrs. Strade died in 1970. Mr. Strade was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ, Kiel. He is survived by nieces and nephews, and was preceded in death by two daughters.
Funeral services will be held Friday at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel. The Rev. John Baumann, pastor of St. Peter United Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Town of Schleswig.
