At the home of Mr. Chas. Taylor near LaCrosse Tuesday evening his accomplished daughter, Miss Rossie was united in marriage to Mr. John Henry Childers, one of Schley's sterling young farmers. After the ceremony performed by Rev. R.F. Williamson, the guests were invited to partake of an elegant spread. A reception was tendered the bridal party and a large number of friends at the
home of Mr. Childers yesterday which was in every respect a most enjoyable occasion. Mr. and Mrs. Childers begin life under the happiest auspices and the News extends congratulations and best wishes

DEATH OF MRS. J.H. CHILDERS
A great many hearts were saddened by the death of Mrs. John Henry Childers,
which occurred last Friday at the home of her father, Mr. Charlie Taylor, near LaCrosse. The deceased was only twenty-one years of age and had been married
but little more than a year. She was well known and beloved by a large circle of friends, and the sincerest sympathy is extended the bereaved family. The remains were brought to Ellaville Saturday morning. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. G.P. Pournelle in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends.
