ROBERT W. HAGER DIES; RITES TUESDAY

Robert W. Hager, 50, of 1509a South West Street, died unexpectedly Saturday evening. He was pronounced dead on arrival at 9:30 p.m. at the Audrain Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Arnold Funeral Home. The Rev. Delbert Admire will officiate and burial will be at the Elmwood Cemetery in Mexico.
Friends may call at the Arnold Funeral Home until the hour of services. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. today.
Mr. Hager was born January 22, 1922, in Perry, a son of Mrs. Annie O'Connor Hager of Fulton and the late Clifford W. Hager. He was married in Mexico September 16, 1963, to Onita M. Stringer, who survives.
Surviving besides his wife and mother are three sons, Larry of Fulton, Ronnie L. and Danny of Mexico; two daughters, Debbie Hager and Mrs. Mike (Marilyn) Lambert of Mexico; two step-daughters, Mrs. Roberta Plotner of Mexico and Mrs. Robert (Alice) Reitman of Little York, Illinois; three sisters, Mrs. Gene Baise and Mrs. Fred Brooks, both of Fulton, and Mrs. Merle Graves of Farber; and 14 grandchildren.
Mr. Hager had resided in Mexico for the past 20 years. He was employed as a brick setter for both Kaiser Refractories and A.P. Green Company, before his health forced him to retire in 1952.
He was a veteran of World War II and had served in the Army Air Force from 1942 to 1946. Mr. Hager was a member of the VFW and the American Legion in Wadsworth, Kansas.
