Services were conducted at 10 A.M. Tuesday the 15th at Oakes and Nichols Funeral home with Howard Parker and Mike Green officiating. Burial is in Polk Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Gibson was a Maury County native and the son of the late Oscar and Mary Etta Prince Gibson.
Survivors include his wife, Gerline Brown Morrow Gibson of Columbia; one son, Terry Wayne Gibson of Columbia, daughters, Mrs. Bill(Sue)Fly of Williamsport,and Mrs. Phil(Sandra)Lindsey of Columbia. Three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Allen, Mrs. Mildred Pickle, both of Columbia, and Mrs. J.C.(Dot) Brown of Rogersville, Alabama. one brother James Oakley Gibson of Columbia, and Nine Grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
