Regina Frances Anderson, 88, of Sikeston, MO, died Oct. 30, 2008, at Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau, MO.
Born Dec. 31, 1919, in Harvel, IL, to the late John Theodore and Bertha Frances Hoehn Todt, she was a housewife, a Sikeston Senior High School secretary for 22 years and a secretary for Case International Harvester Implement Co. in Sikeston, MO for two years. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston, MO where she was a member of Legion of Mary, Daughters of Isabella and was a Eucharistic Minister.
On Jan. 25, 1941, in Oran, MO, she married Floyd Anderson and he preceded her in death on June 19, 1981.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Herman Todt and Harold Todt.
Survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Shirley Anderson; four brothers, Cletus Todt, Carl Todt, Sylvester Todt and Robert Todt; two sisters, Geraldine Lewis and Theresa Schlitt; five grandsons and their wives, Brad and Jennifer Anderson, Blake and Crystal Anderson, Jeremy and Jennifer Anderson, Joaquin Anderson and Ben Anderson; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where a rosary was recited by the Legion of Mary. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with the Rev. Scott Sunnenberg, pastor, officiating.
Burial followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
