(Levi born 1824, died 1859).They followed the gold rush and moved to California, along with his brother Elisha Hawes. Abby 1 child Emma Butterfield Hawes, born in 1857. Abby died 3 Sep 1860 in Placer County, CA. Abby Otis Hawes can be found in the Placer County Probate records, #583 of 1891. Her name is listed as Abbie Otis Hawes.
