" Henry Hammett.died on Monday morning, aged 64 years. Was taken sick while walking in Baltimore. He went into a store, sat down in a back room and died. He was taken to his residence in Baltimore and investigation showed that death was from neuralgia of the heart. A native of this county, he farmed and kept store here for some years, then moved to Cincinnati, OH where he engaged in the hardware business. He has been a bill collector in Baltimore for the past 18 years. Survived by a widow , 6 daughters and 4 sons. " The Enterprise, 6/6/1885. (St Mary's county, MD)
