Philip Adam Hardaway is buried at Mooney Cemetery in Gonzales County, Texas. Matilda had children with an Unknown "Moore" to beget E.L. Moore, an Unknown "Shuler" to beget Sam Shuler, and she and Philip Adam Hardaway begot: B. Hardaway, John E. Hardaway, Sallie D. Hardaway, Earther Hardaway, Anninias Hardaway, Philip Adam Hardaway Jr., Bessie Mae Hardaway, and Melvin Hardaway. Matilda was born March 25, 1876 in Texas, and died October 13, 1981 in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona--where she was being taken care of by her two daughters who moved there previously.
