She was born in Havana, IL, September 15, 1928, the daughter of James M. and Lydia M. (Crum) Smith.
Surviving are three children, Diana Carol (Mike) Beoletto of Canton, Connie Lynn (Richard) Whiteman of Marietta, and Larry Stephen (Jennifer) Grove of Fiatt; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and one brother, William E. (Joyce) Smith of Ava, IL.
Preceding her in death were her parents, one half-brother, and one half-sister.
She was a LPN at Graham Hospital in Canton in the O.B. Department for many years. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a graveside Memorial service on Saturday, March 28th at 2:00 pm at Laurel Hill Cemetery, in Havana with Pastor Wayne Miller officiating. Memorials may be made to Sunset Manor Nursing Home or Harbor Lights Hospice.
