Charles Kluzak was born on Wednesday, March 7, 1900 in Tabor Township, Polk County, Minnesota, the ninth child of Czech immigrants, Jan and Mary( Pekarek) Kluzak. He was raised and educated in the Tabor community. Charlie and his brother, Edward, farmed the family farm. Charlie moved to Warren, Minnesota, in 1987 and later to the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Warren.
Charlie passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 1994 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Warren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his 8 siblings. He was survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service for Charles Kluzak were held at the Stennes Funeral Home Chapel in East Grand Forks, MN on Saturday, January 22, 1994 with Rev Robert Bergland officiating. Burial was at the Czech National Cemetery in rural Tabor, Minnesota.
Casketbearers were Ray Marek, Joe Vonasek, Carl Vonasek, Tom Kluzak, Paul Kluzak and Albert Machal.
