Annie Davis Elliott, 86, of Haleyville died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2000. The funeral was at 2 p.m. today, Feb. 8, 2000, at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Winston Memorial Cemetery. Dr. Richard Trader and Dr. T.B. Stringfellow officiated. Pinkard Funeral Home of Haleyville directed.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Haleyville. She was a retired school teacher with Haleyville City Schools.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Elliott; son, Kirby Edwin Elliott; and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Davis.
She is survived by her son, Wayland and his wife, Myra Teague Elliott of Birmingham; three brothers, Oscar Davis of Gadsden, Aubrey Davis of Albertville and Ellis Davis of Birmingham; two sisters, Agnes Koon of Tuscaloosa and Dell Cockrell of Double Springs; three grandchildren, Chris Elliott, Ty Elliott and Robin Smith, all of Birmingham; and three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Elliott, Andrew Elliott and Tucker Smith.
