Robert (Bob) White, Caro, Passed away on Friday, Dec.31, 2004, at his residence, at the age of 73. He was born on May 2, 1931, in Madison Heights. After graduation from high school, he served in the U.S. Air Force, during the Korean Conflict. On Nov., 26, 1953, Bob married Lucy Mae Northcut at the First Baptist Church in Troy. He was employed, until his retirement, in the sales division of Detroit Edison Co. Bob was an avid golfer, a private pilot and a member of the Methodist denomination. He is survived by his wife, Lucy; three daughters and spouses, Sue (Bruce) Findlay of Caro, Linda (Dale) Kitchen of Milford and Nancy (Robert) Dekker of Hamiliton; eight grandchildren, Ashley Putnam, Meaga Findlay, Rebecca Kitchen, Jamie Varney, Jon Kitchen, Michael, Jeffrey and Douglas Dekker; four borthers and spouses, James White of Flint, Darrell (Lillian) White of Bellaire, Gerald (Betty) White of Lake Orion, and Raymond (Linda) White of Lake City; one sister, Donna Jean Ashcraft of Rochester Hills; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruby White. Funeral service was held at Colwood United Brethren in Christ Church on Monday, Jan. 3, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Rocky Spear officiating. Burial was in Ellington Township Cemetery, with military honors rendered Caro V.F.W. Post #4164. Memorials may be made to Caro V.F.W. Post Society. Funeral arrangements were made by Collon Funeral Home in Caro.
