Aaron Rader, 72, of Brownsville, died Tuesday September 23, 2008 at his residence. He was born February 12, 1936 in Lee County, Kentucky to Fredrick and Nettie Rowland Rader. He attended Eaton High School and joined the United States Marine Corps in 1953. He spent 13 years in the marines attaining the rank of Corporal. Aaron worked for Visteon, Connersville and its predecessors for 30 years before his retirement in 2001. Aaron enjoyed fishing, mowing the grass but what he really loved was his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife: Mary Jane Rader of Brownsville; his children and their spouses: Victoria and Peter Held of Staurt, Fl, Larry and Denise Smith of Georgetown, KY, Denise and Robin Knight of OH, Mark and Beverly Smith of Richmond, Glen and Gene Smith of Las Vegas, NV, Robert Rader of Liberty, Bekki and Michael Geis of Brownsville, Amy and Jeremy Archie of New Castle, Jo and Barry Edwards of Liberty, Fred Rader and Rhonda Stevens
both of Las Vegas, NV; two brothers and their wives: James Matt and Ima Rader of Morning Sun, Ross Donald and Morene Rader of Maumee, OH; three sister-in-laws, 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his parents, sevens brothers: Carclic, Olaf, Leroy, Jack, Brookshire, Frankie, Leon, and Prentic.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday September 26, 2008 at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Fosdick Chapel, Liberty. Cremation will follow. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. Friday until the time of the service where memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
