Mrs. Jacob Klaeser Passes Away at Hospital Monday
Mrs. Jacob Klaeser, 55, passed away at the St. Nicholas hospital at Sheboygan on Monday evening at 10 o'clock, where she had been a patient for three weeks, having submitted to three operations.
Mrs. Klaeser, nee Rose Broeckert, was born in the town of Schleswig on March 3, 1881, the daughter of the late Fred and Katherine Broeckert. She was united in marriage on January 11, 1916 to Jacob Klaeser, and they made their home here since.
Mr. and Mrs. Klaeser had no children, but raised as their own child, Marie Broeckert, the daughter of Mrs. Klaeser's brother, whose wife passed away when Marie, now aged 12, was but nine months old.
Survivors are her husband, her niece, Marie; a sister, Mrs. Aloys Gellings of St. Nazianz; and two brothers, William of the town of Schleswig and Edward of St. Nazianz. Three brothers preceded her in death.
Mrs. Klaeser was a member of the Kiel Court of Lady Foresters, the Christian Mothers' Society, and the Alter Society of the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church.
Funeral services will be held (this) Thursday morning at 9 o'clock at the C.J. Meiselwitz Funeral Home, and at 9:30 o'clock at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic church, with the Rev. Father J.J. Esdepsky officiating. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
