Fred Kramer, 2352 Wallace street, died at 4 o'clock this morning in Jane Lamb hospital. He had been ill only a week. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Snell funeral home, where the body reposes and friends may call beginning Thursday. The Rev. George W. Krueger of Zion Lutheran church will conduct services and burial will be in Sprindgdale cemetery.
Fred, son of George and Margaret Kramer, was born Jan. 4, 1885, in Germany. He married Miss Leona Berry Nov. 27, 1907, in Clinton, and their entire married life was spent here. He had been a blacksmith mechanic in the John L. Kramer shops for the past 40 years.
He is survived by his widow; a daughter, Mrs. LeRoy (Grace) Knight of Clinton; six grandchildren; two brothers; John L. Kramer and George Kramer, both of Clinton; nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Howard.
