Married Myrtle Ousley 11 Apr 1931 - Union County, TN.

They had children:
Edna - born 1939
Bill
Jasper C.
Magnolia - (older family photo seen here courtesy of Magnolia)

Photo: Myrtle sent this photo in the cemetery to me years ago. It states:
George and Myrtle Brogan standing between Maynard and Mary's graves. Of interest, Mary had a twin brother.

Ica Jane Brogan, George's older sister, was close to her younger siblings. Ica would have sorrow and hardship in her life, yet seemed to have lived a long, fullfilled life.

She would marry William Matthew Sowder in 1914. In 1921 they would divorce. William would go on to marry Bertha and at least for a time they lived in Monroe MI where William was a Laborer at the Paper Mill there. They would have no children.

She is the head of the household with both her sister Caroline and brother George living with her, while caring for her children Claude, and twins Alta and Alma in 1930:
Ica Jane Brogan 34
Claudy Brogan 14
Alta Brogan 12
Alma Brogan 12
George Brogan 22
Caroline Brogan 27

George and his sister Caroline really favored one another in later years. They had the same smile and the white hair.
