The remains of Mrs. Eliza Kerr were interred in the cemetry [sic] south of town today. Rev. Welch conducted the services at the grave. Deceased was a resident of Primrose and the mother of Wm. Kerr of this place. She was eighty-nine years of age and has been a resident of Primrose for many years. It was a sweet consoling thought to the friends who gathered around her grave when the singers rendered "It is Well with My Soul," to know that it was well with her sould, she having been a consistent christian for over sixty years. She rests in peace beside her daughter who was buried a few months ago.
