Laona Rites for E. Sederstrom
Funeral services for Edward Sederstrom, 72, of Laona, were held at 1 o'clock last Thursday afternoon, June 11, in St. John's Lutheran church of Laona, with the Rev. R. Tremain officiating.
Death occurred June 8 after Mr. Sederstrom was injured when he attempted to stop his car from rolling down a hill at Newald after he had parked it. He fell as he ran toward his car.
Pallbearers were Reno Fechtner, Edard Gerl, Chester Irish, Herman Lang, Ben Fritz and Forrest Tipton.
Burial was in the Laona cemetery.
Halverson Funeral Home of Crandon was in charge of arrangements.

Deceased was born Feb. 22, 1887, in Oconto County. He was married on April 9, 1908, to Myrtle Christiansen. In 1910 he came to Wabeno and in 1933 moved to Laona where he was employed by the Connor Lumber & Land Co.
Surviving besides is wife are six daughters, Mrs. Esther O'Brien of Milwaukee, Mrs. Richard (Elsie) Bright of Newald, Mrs. Alice Johnvin, Mrs. Raymond (Mary) Brewer and Mrs. Michael (Nora) Lepel of Laona and Mrs. Daniel (Isabel) Brault of Manitowoc; a son, Clarence, of Briceland, Calif.; 266 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A son, Charles, and 13 brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
