GRIMES - Alma, 65, New Paris, died Wednesday, March 4, 2009. She was born Oct. 23, 1943, a daughter of the late Doyle and Mabel Ellis. On June 1, 1961, she married Darrel Grimes, who survives along with their children: Steve, Darren and Jody and five grandchildren. Mrs. Grimes enjoyed attending church with her family when she could and truly enjoyed watching and hearing a sermon on television. She was a homemaker who also had worked at the Bedford County Courthouse and enjoyed crocheting, knitting and sewing and will be greatly missed.
