Otto J. Turba Of Kiel Dies Friday Following Illness. Kiel. -Otto J. Turba, 41, a barber here for many years, died Friday at his home following a lengthy illness.
Born in the town of Russell March 31, 1901, he was the son of John and Louise Turba. He was married to Miss Emma Wieseckel of Elkhart Lake Nov. 6, 1926, and he had made his home here since that time. Six weeks ago he sold his barber shop on Fremont street to E.R. Hayner, formerly of Sheboygan.
Surviving are his wife; three children, Ralph, Dorothy and Beatrice; his mother, Mrs. Louise Turba; and four brothers, Edmund, Joseph, Henry and Leo, all of the town of Russell. His father preceded him in death in 1936. He was a member of the Holy Name society and of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin, branch 168, of the St. Peter and Paul church, Kiel. For the past five years he had been treasurer of the group.
Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9:30 in the C.J. Meiselwitz Funeral home and at 10 o'clock in the St. Peter and Paul church. The Rev. F.X. Kheil will read the mass, assisted by the Rev. C.P. Kern as deacon and by the Rev. Anthony Reinl, sub-deacon.
Interment is to be in the St. Peter and Paul Catholic cemetery.
Friends may call at he funeral home after noon Sunday.
