Mrs. Louise Turba, 86, died suddenly Wednesday at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Turba of St. Anna.
Nee Louise LaCroix, she was born in the town of Russell April 6, 1869, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry LaCroix. June 19, 1894, she was married to John Turba at St. Ann’s Church and settled and lived on a farm west of St. Anna until the death of her husband in 1936. Since then she has lived with her son in St. Anna. She was a member of St. Ann’s parish and of the Christian Mothers Society.
Survivors are four sons, Edmund, Joseph, Henry, and Leo all of St. Anna, 16 grandchildren, 18 grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Mary Stemper of Milwaukee. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a son, Otto in Oct. 1942 and three sisters and a brother.
Members of the Christian Mothers Society will recite the rosary at St. Ann’s Church Monday prior to the funeral mass. The Rev. John M. Haen will be celebrant of the mass with burial in the church cemetery.
