Catherine is the daughter of Anna McLeod b. 1849, Nova Scotia. She married Samuel Mogg on Nov 16, 1889 in Southampton, Bruce, Ontario.

They farmed in Saugeen, Bruce where the first 3 children were born. In the mid 1890's the family immigrated to Richland Township, Ogemaw, Michigan where the remaining of the children were born. They farmed in Richland. This cemetery is on part of their farmland. Catherine was also a midwife.
