Anna, born in Nova Scotia is the daughter of Hugh McLeod b. 1820 Scotland and Catherine McDonald b. 1820 Scotland. In the early 1850's her family moved from Nova Scotia to Bruce Township, Bruce, Ontario, where she lived most of her life. In her later years after both parents had died, she came to Michigan to live with her daughter Catherine.
